Located on the Southern Oregon Coast at the mouth of the Coquille River, Bandon Oregon is 90 miles north of the California border, about a 90 minute drive to Interstate 5 at Roseburg, five hours by car from Portland and about nine hours from San Francisco.
Airport The Bandon Airport is located just off US 101, about two miles south of town. It is an uncontrolled airport which has a 3,600 foot runway (runway 16/34.) Frank’s Flight Service (541-347-2022) is the FBO at the airport. Airplane rentals and charter service are available. The airport can accommodate aircraft up to a small jet aircraft. The closest airport offering scheduled passenger and freight service is the North Bend Municipal Airport, located some 25 miles to the north. Transportation: Public transit van available weekdays. Call 347-4131 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.; Greyhound bus service.
