We understand how much it means to bring your pet with you to the Oregon Coast. 
The Fireside Motel is pet friendly, and up to two well-behaved and well-groomed pets are 
welcome in selected rooms at a charge of $10.00 per pet, per night (2 pet maximum).
There is a wonderful trail along the dramatic Oregon Coast where you may walk your 
pet (leashes are required) and enjoy the spectacular scenery at the same time. 
Following this trail about ¾ mile North will bring you to 7 miles of sandy 
beach - most pets love this! We also have a wooded area on the Southeast 
side of the Fireside Motel where you may walk your pet. 

The first thing that strikes you as you drive in to the Fireside Inn is the 
quality and care the owners have put into the establishment.  The grounds are 
neat and the office and rooms are fairly modern.  Each room is equipped with 
cable TV, a phone, a refrigerator and a coffee pot.  A few extra perks are also 
included, such as a mailed info-packet prior to your visit, a pet care package 
upon arrival and historian-guided evening strolls.  About the only thing that's 
really lacking at the Fireside is a swimming pool.  Located on the ocean shore, 
the Fireside Inn offers many vantage points close by for ocean viewing or 
tidepool exploring, while heading north on a short trail will take you to a 
long sandy beach.

Although the Holiday Inn Motel is not located right on the ocean's edge, it is just a short walk down a well-marked path from a nice, long sandy beach. The owners describe their units as "more like apartments than the usual motel room." Each unit has a completely furnished kitchen, cable TV and separate bedroom(s), and most units have a free standing fireplace. A small market is also conveniently located on the premises. Cats are not allowed but up to two dogs are permitted per unit.

Situated right on the ocean's edge, Yachats Inn offers modest yet very clean rooms with excellent views. There is easy access to a rocky beach with a spouting horn for viewing pleasure during high tide. The management and staff provide a welcoming environment to owners and their well behaved, housebroken pets, for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Basic cable is provided but telephones are not included in rooms. A small indoor heated pool is available year round.
