Oregon Adventure for the Oregon traveller
Prettiest drive in Oregon - It's a toss up. There are so many in God's Country.
My two favorites: Brookings (near the California border) to Bandon. Then Coos Bay to Seaside Oregon.
My other favorite: Highway 138 going east and south from Roseburg past Lake Lemola, past Crater Lake to Shady Cove.
Whitewater rafting - (class 1 and 2) Easiest yet most thrill for your buck - Fish Hatchery (just outside Shady Cove) to Shady cove.
Park car down river and have a friend drop you off at Fish Hatchery. Great raft ride for kids and adults who have never rafted.
Dog Friendly hiking in Central Oregon
Great resource for hiking trails in and around Central Oregon. Hiking trails have been reviewed and to be the best for taking
a dog and a camera.
Oregon is in the Pacific Northwest Oregon offers nature-lovers the best of the best.
Oregon has four seasons, and the weather is fairly mild. Lots of rain, some snow,
lots of sunshine in southern cities, colorful autumns, brisk springs, moderate summers.
Recreation lovers have access to the most beautiful parks and campgrounds, the most
rugged terrain for any recreational sport, four-wheeling, the most difficult river
rapids for whitewater rafting, the most beautiful camping spots and hikes for all
skill levels, the clearest lakes, and the best fishing in lakes and rivers.
Real Estate is booming and is so affordable compared to other states.
Since there is no sales tax this attracts many people to come for retirement to live,
buy a house or just buy land.
