Native American Honoring Ceremony – This event usually takes place in mid-Spring with a community potluck, drumming, traditional dancing, examples of pine needle weaving. The Jubilee on the July 4th is a five day event. One of the best and largest celebration on the south coast. Some of the festivities are: Port Orford Fishermen’s and Fishermen’s Wives Association salmon barbecue, Senior Center Spaghetti Feed, quilt show, co-ed slow pitch softball tournament, photography show, Jerry can races, knot tying contest, flower show, square dancing. 1 hour parade at around noon, fireworks, Rotary breakfast, sand sculpture, dingy races, pet show, parade, fireworks,and candy for kids. Wind Festival – Late May... Arts & Seafood Festival - Usually on Labor Day weekend. In August...Blessing of the Fleet ...Fishermen's Memorial at the Port of Port Orford...The solemn occasion is marked with the distinct tones of the bagpipes ...The Annual Christmas Crafts Bazaar
